I could be wrong, but I think the football and basketball teams both finished the season ranked Top 25 only twice: in 2019 and 1994. Theyâve both had their stretches of national relevance, but rarely at the same time.
What a catch!
Do any of our injured OL make it back this season? OL played incredibly on Friday ⌠adding more depth/power from here would make me very happy.
Go back and watch the drive after the missed FSU field goal. 12 runs to only 1 pass. We completely controlled the line of scrimmage the whole drive and had wide receivers and tight ends dog walking FSU DBâs down field. Pure football porn
Iâm assuming Wilson will be back.
Hoos ranked even if itâs only a week is a massive milestone. I believe they finished 23rd in 19? And maybe got ranked at some point in the wonky 2020 yr.
But to think where the program was 1 yr ago and how it was perceived just 6 weeks ago.
Didnât we ask that last year?
Looking at sports reference, this is the first time theyâve been ranked since 2019 as others said. They reached a high of 18 that year in the AP poll, finished 24th in the CFP rankings. That was the highest ranking since Groh.
This is only the 5th year theyâve been ranked since 2006. And they havenât finished a season ranked in the AP top 25 since 2004.
Crazy when you put all those numbers into context. Its not a CTE thing. Its an institutional disease that was allowed to sit in and fester.
Thinking the same thing! Wilson & Sipe are day to day I believe. Unamba is after bye week I believe. Thomas could be back at the very end of the season and I believe qualifies for medical redshirt. Syracuse dude 0 idea on and mills could come back or try his shot at the nfl. Someone correct me if needed!
Jack witmer isnât losing his spot either imo.

Ball Hawk!
We donât get covered much by national reporters, but the few times weâre mentioned, Ross Dellinger has been very sympathetic to our football program. Maybe itâs because heâs based in DC and his wifeâs a political reporter. This was a nice piece he wrote. He mightâve been among a handful of national reporters covering the game in person. Maybe just him and Grace Raynor of the Athletic.
That was the series Morris hurt his hand/wrist. On that series, every play was a running play after the injury.
I just want to add a late fact. The FSU guy criticizing the field rush by the fans should keep his mouth shut. There has one ACC team that has already stormed the field this year and paid a 50k fine. That team was FSU. Shut up dummy!
Invited Ross onto the JBDragon Pod. Because that article was well done.
Status efforting. Updates pending.
I donât think our fans realize just how big this win was for the program and school. We havenât had this much national exposure in decades. And people wont forget this game thanks to the field rush. Now, we had to finish the job and make the win mean something for our season.
The field rush heard round the world â everyone in Seattle brought it up to me
