We legitimately could (and maybe should) have beaten Memphis and SMU, with or without Dai Dai, frankly. Win those two games and weāre feeling very different about the team right now. I think weāre going to regret those losses a lot at the end of the year.
Sometimes I see the tag lines @DFresh11 has handed out and I gotta ask for the back storyā¦Sack of Crabs @cosmo ? haha
Not sure, but I think we were discussing seafood restaurants ā during one of our many digressions ā and I mentioned that I once got kicked out of an all-you-can-eat crab buffet because they thought I was eating too much. They sent me home with a sack of crabs. It wasnāt all I could eat; it was all they would let me eat.
I gotta get better at updating in semi real time
Iām on day 11 of in laws lol - My apologies
How have I never heard this story and if youre at the ND game you get a drink on me to tell me the story in person. Getting kicked out of a buffet for eating too much is something I can get on with.
day 11?!? prayers
Annual trip back to the US.
Positives: sports on at a reasonable time; no VPN; FanDuel/Draftkings
Negatives: 14 days with in laws in suburban Indiana in the gd cold

If Sharma starts being consistent with his 3⦠watch out.
In this garbage conference Iāll maybe ease off the throttle when weāve still only got one conference loss in February or win the conference tourney. But until then itās full speed ahead.
Havenāt read all the comments yet so I may be repeating what has already been said:
We played well. A good day. But they were without Middlebrooks who is very good and a starter. Take the win and donāt look back- injuries happen to everyone.
This felt a lot like the Villanova game to me - playing freely and loose and letting it fly. We even ran a little bit! It was like seeing Sasquatch. A good day.
They also threw it into Saunders who has been open and has sealed his man every single game since the Blue-White scrimmage. Throw it to him. But tonight we threw it into him and he looked great- not like Gronk 2.0.
They may have needed to get away for a while and clear their heads. It happens. Hoos win- Iāll take it. A good day for all of us!
Happy New Year fellaās!

P.S. - expect a lot of drone activity tonight. Stay vigilant.
Really enjoyed the second half. Lots to like, plenty to work on. The Rhode/iMac/Taine/Sharma PG by committee worked well in the 2H. I know weāll need DD in certain situations but wouldnāt mind seeing those 4 handle the 1-3 responsibilities moving forward. Just ride the hot hand.
That said, what the heck is with iMacās entry passes? They are absolutely terrible. He either skip passes it to someoneās ankles or line drives it over their head.
Donāt take it for granted⦠I would love to have a chance to do that⦠my Father in Law passed in May and my MIL has early dementiaā¦. Such great humans both of them!!!
Count your blessings!!!
Thatās my boy, All-ACC PG Rhode.
He had some slick passes today.
For those wonderingā¦.
The Hoos went on a 38-12 run over 13:30 of game time in the 2nd half.
In 2019 vs Syracuse the Hoos went on a 40-11 run over 13:30 of the 2nd half in what is widely considered the biggest Cavalanche of CTB era.
Way to go Hoos!
And Happy New Year!!
Grateful every day.
Middlebrooks was sick. Said that during the broadcast and that he possibly would play in 2nd half (he didnāt obviously).
