At the Alumni Reunion last week, I had a chance to speak with an assistant who’s been with Odom since forever. He told me this is Ryan’s last stop assuming we want to keep him. They’ve moved 4 times in 6 years and to quote Kevin Costner from Draft Day…Ryan is UVa Royalty finally home.
Maybe he’s not “Ralph type” royalty, but to see the older players at the reunion interact with him, it certainly feels like he’s home.

I had a chance to interview Dave Odom a bunch of times my last year in college, and he was always open and polite and accessible. Never heard anyone say a bad word about him. Doesn’t surprise me that people’s affection for Dave would spill over to his son.

I hope and expect Coach Odom to continue to embrace the alumni from past eras and the recent alumni from Tony’s era.
I looked at tickets on Stub Hub, and they were stupid high. I need new LR furniture more than I need to get to JPJ. Same price.
Also - if we get the snow they say we’ll get next weekend . . . YIKES! Hopefully it doesn’t start dumping till everyone’s safely out of the area.

Yeah really hoping the weather holds off, atleast until Saturday evening…this will be the first game I’ve made this year really hoping to be able to go.

Prices were OK two weeks ago but spiked since Louisville game. Also Seatgeek always got better prices.
Also, my Amtrak out of town leaves at 7pm after the game for DC. Am I going to be screwed?

Hopefully not, but the totals they’re calling for right now are comical. If it snows that much, it’ll be the biggest storm in decades. In Richmond, they’re saying 8-12” on Saturday and an additional 16-23” on Sunday - with a high of 20 degrees. So . . . It’s hard to imagine, but maybe it’ll happen. The last forecast I saw did say the snow may hold off till Saturday night.

Cville forecast is about the same, ~30 inches… which would be insane. But it’s way too early to make accurate predictions.
