On paper this should be a game where our defense smothers ND, statistically they have the worst offense of any P5 team and very little depth. For some reason though I feel like they hang around for an annoyingly long time simply by taking a high volume of 3’s, Burton the freshman will be a tough cover and seems like the kinda player who will be randomly hot from the perimeter against us despite shooting 22% on the season so far. Also road games in the ACC tend to be kinda bullshit so always gotta account for that.
Still think we win comfortably, would like to see our offense find a little more aggressiveness and get into the lane looking to score at the rim. We’re settling for too many mid range jumpers for my taste (even if Reece and Bond have been consistent).

I think Burton is the kind of guard that Reece matches up perfectly with, kinda like Wade Taylor IV for TAMU. I agree that their heavy use of the 3pt shot will amp up the variance in the game, but that cuts both ways: it could be a lot closer than expected if they are hitting their threes or it could be ugly quick if they shoot at or even below their average for the season.
Is Burton the small guard from Indiana growing up? He is gonna be really good

Imac need to have a good game. Reese can’t carry us every game. Like to see Dunn get his high school 3pt % back. 43% his 10th and 11th grade. Had that growth spurt and dropped to 31% his senior year. He used to have a pretty shot

What was the last time we played an ACC game where we had more points per game than the opponent? I have never seen that before, not in my memory at least. If our defense is on point we could hold Notre Dame under fifty this weekend. Let’s just hope our offense can score more than fifty.

I have no worries, Reece will drop 55 points, 15 assists and 10 rebounds and will singlehandedly outscore Notre Dame. Or he won’t, but I doubt that.

Actually had a dream about this game last night…we scored 55 in the 1st half 
But Mike Tobey was our starting C and had about half of those points, so not quite sure what to make of that.
