Not sure how I feel about this one, think the spread might be low (ducks). They are coming off an 8 day break, for a Noon game in likely a dead arena (remember ND had their bowl game yesterday and students still on break). Just think they might come out slow even if we do as well. Reece likely to shut down their best player. I can see them winning the boards and maybe living off 2nd chance/garbage buckets, but if we are remotely focused and hitting even a few 3s I see a 10-14 pt win. Aside from the boards the biggest concern is mental if we struggle early. Team sees the road bogey man and goes into it’s shell

Our offense is pretty rough and it’s fairly inexcusable. I don’t know why it’s so hard to put together a passable offense for this program but it is

Just want to see a good start on the road. We need our 1st half run to put us up 10+, not get us back to even.

Mostly it’s just a question whether this offense the new reality or do we click back in. Clicking back in basically would basically just be iMac getting over his yips and Dunn getting over his with some marginal improvements (Bond stepping up / being paired in go to line ups, a big being more consistent, etc). We’d need to show that against top 50 comp. I think that puts our offense as top 50-75.
I think at least Dunn or iMac will even out soon which will go a long way. Just a matter of when and how painful it’ll be in the meantime.

Imac is the catalyst for me. 1 he is a shooter and I don’t believe he will remain this cold or scared. 2 once Imac begins to hit it will open apace for Dunn Minor and Blake by stretching the D and hopefully creating opportunities for them.
Imac getting back to even changes a lot.
