I really do think this just comes down to it was Pittās night/not our night. This will be terrible for our metrics though, we still havenāt lost a close game all season lol. The game Saturday becomes absolutely huge now, our schedule after that is damn near impossible

Canāt play two non-shooters against this Pitt team and run good offense. Theyāre collapsing all over Beekman whenever he has the ball and helping off Rohde and Dunn. Usually a terrible defensive philosophy to double and opposing point guard, but we arenāt surrounding Beekman with the tools to make them pay.

Nah this is a hot take. Just a down game that was due. Cold night/ HOT shooting game from them. Just a weird game. effort wasnāt really there and coaching decision werent great scheme wise

Maybe. But we also brought back the hedge more aggressively this game compared to the last few. And this is the result.
Pitt got the matchups they wanted and took advantage. We couldnāt stop what they wanted to do. Simple as that.
