I would like to see us run some defensive sets with Chance/Eli/Jacari in the backcourt and really ramp up the full court pressure. Not just a token look, actually trap a bit and play super tight on and off ball.

This is what Tw and I were talking about on the post show. Iād love to see the pressure ramped up and lead to traps, specifically with those 3.
My biggest concern right at the moment is Iāve seen these guys play twice now and they havenāt shot well. Outside or from the FT line. Sure we can say 1 was a scrimmage and 1 was first game jitters, but I just really want to see them knock down shots to feel more comfortable. Maybe itās PTSD from the stattmans and powers but Iāll feel so much better seeing like 4 guys all go 3-5 from 3 for a game or 2.
Off topic: Just sat down for this Duke Texas game and man was that dickie v segment a tear jerker. Weāre so lucky we got to see and hear Dickie V and Lee Corso both for such a long time.

We shot over 38% from 3 against Villanova. Believe I heard you say we shot poorly against them, but that was not the case Maybe I heard that wrong. I believe this was the only poor shooting night, which was not true in the second half.
I honestly donāt think shooting will be an issue outside of a handful of games.
Just my opinion.

Yeah 10-26 is acceptable. But breaking it down they also went 2-10 in the second half and started last nights game what, 2-19 from 3? Iād just like to see more consistency before feeling comfortable on it. Theyāll definitely see better defense from better teams than they did last night, or in the scrimmage too really.
