The worst part of tonight is it will likely cost us the storybook playoff appearance that wouldāve gotten Elliot hired away and set up our program to suck less longer term. Now weāre staring straight in the face of an ill advised contract extension with a stupidly unfavorable buyout structure locking us into another lost two decades after the usual dead cat bounce. Weāve had multiple better QBs than Morris over the last several coaches. Morris is good but not better than Perkins, Benkert, or maybe even Armstrong
We can still complain about that even though the D was great overall. We just did not adjust to that.

Youāre right. Honestly Iām not even mad. I am disappointed though. Once Chandler went down I just concluded this one was done. I got excited that we had a chance to tie or win it at the end, but I was pretty much emotionally checked out at halftime. It was evident Chandler wasnāt coming out of the locker room.

Morris going down pretty much cost us any chance. Kitchens couldnāt figure it out wih Kaelin and our luck ran out. Hope QB1 can make it back. If he got knocked out cold, might be bowl game.
First time in 6 years Iāve had any excitement AT ALL for UVA football, it was a great ride the first 9 games. Still have something to play for and maybe an outside chance to sneak into the ACCCG.
Not sure what to think going forward if Des is sticking around. Guess time will tell.

Yeah, we were breathing rarefied air for a while there, but 8-2 (and tied atop the ACC) is still awesome. Just have to beat VT and itāll be a great year.
