Wild & Wacky Winter of Wooing Wings - Recruiting Rundown

We need bouncy 6’9/6’10 forwards for both ball screen and mover blocker.

I’m conflicted. I’d hope Kadin could be the player. If not then hell yes we need to go find one.

And even if Kadin is we probably need one in 2022. Don’t want to have such a large gap between them moving forward like we did Mamadi and Kadin. Although to be fair that was due to Badocchi not working out.

Good point. Maybe he isn’t a Tony type player? Will be something to watch in the next 5 seconds of commit watch

I am thrilled! Moving on to ‘22

It wouldn’t shock me if he were to commit within 48 hours. Just a hunch. No inside info.

Think everything we have been told is that he wants to take visits regardless. He does like us a lot though. Not sure if he is also waiting for Kentucky or not.

I really wanted CTB to reel him in.

Yes, that’s what he’s said. However, something I read awhile back about Klay Thompson’s recruitment tells me we may no longer offer unless a prospect is ready to decide. At that time, CTB would give 48 hours for a “committable ” offer.

Or in Keels case 48 years. No way CTB only offers for imminent commitments.

He may not now but his own assistant stated back then they gave a prospect 48 hours to decide after taking his official visit. He didn’t specify what happened if said prospect didn’t accept. In the article, he insinuated the timing was calculated back then.

‘Officially”. Hmmmm

An offer from CTB May come to be pretty special for a high school prospect. I don’t think we will see commit-able offers out as long as Keels has been.
