Is there a good reason that they don’t use college soccer rules for the clock? It seems ridiculous that no one knows when the game will end other than the ref.
Sorry, because they’re stupid:). All the cramping and “injuries” by Wales at the end there would have been no flow and no play at all for the last 20 minutes of the game as the clock runs down. They put injury time up, so you know its roughly 9 minutes.
But I get what you are saying. I guess knowing “kind of” how much time is left is good enough for most folks.
Why not just stop the clock for injuries and eliminate injury time?
It’s been done that way forever. Everyone’s grown up with it. They’ll never change it. (Even I kind of don’t want them to, haha, despite it being somewhat wild)
Gotta pull the upset on Friday I think… Iran will be fired up to play us in the last group game and probably heavily financially incentivized to get a result… just guessing…
