So “tu” mocks and ridicules the board in just about every post mixing in opinion that accepted as fact and it’s received with a collective “thank you sir, may we have some more?” His ridicule is called “views on recruiting”
I give just a smidgen of the mockery back and the board loses it’s shit. My doing so is called “anger and hate.”
Let’s just sort of nip this lol Not everybody’s gonna love each other. All good. Move along.
I just ask that people that post keep in mind that most of our traffic comes from the silent majority that never says a word. Any talk on subject is great. When it veers off, that’s bad for us. They don’t come here to read through personal arguments.
Came across this highlight from a Michigan fan. A LOT of ty jerome both in vision and how he is able to steal passes and get into the passing lanes (an under-rated aspect of Ty’s game). Surprised no Pitt in his top 10, considering his teammate is a PITT Commit.
I know its more likely we get neither, especially with the players we already have, but I could totally see Warley co-existing with another 2021 big guard, given that positionless basketball makes it possible for up to 4 (or even 5) guards to be on the floor together.
The only thing that will never be replicable is Ty Jerome’s “New Yorkness” if that makes sense. The New Rochelle swag and shit-talking. Jalen Warley is much more athletic though, and maybe we can get him to do a semester abroad in the New York area playing pick up ball
Wait, Are they saying Warley play like Ty? Warley is no where near the shooter as Ty. Matter of fact his shooting is the main reason Villanova havent offered. Again, I wish I could share more but Ty game is not like Warley.
No problem HooandTrue. I been staying away lately. Traveling and doing my own thing. But Certain posters, I will reply tu and you are one of them. I like you. LOL. You dont have tu say thankyou. We are just talking ball and I love love doing that.
But I do want to say “thank you” cause I really do appreciate your insights even if we dont agree on every little thing (I think we are very much in play with Kaufman even if he does end up choosing Indiana). Has there been any previously unknown prospect on the AAU scene that has popped up and impressed you and you think Virginia might get involved.
We are in play with Kaufman and have a great chance. But at the end of the day and the word in the gyms. He will pick Indiana. Kaufman want tu be a small forward and im not positive UVA see him as one. From what im being told, they do not. They see him more as a Justin or even Gill type. If he pick us we will have Tre and Justin at that position for tu yrs. But there are rumors that Indiana is the favorite for a top 22 forward, who may reclassify and push Kaufman out. Kaufman play this weekend will definetly make INDIANA look over everything. Also not visiting will hurt us and I dont see him waiting until the spring. I am not an insider. Im just sharing what im hearing and I just left an event. Man o man the 22 class is talented.
Dang. Yall had me excited to get on and see what the chatter was about with 35 notifications. I hope we can continue to keep this place a respectful exchange of info and opinions as it is my favorite source for Hoos Hoops. We are all .
I just love how UVA is getting this rep of great player development. The one and done’s don’t care but the smart top 100 ranked guys below them know they are talented but also realize how hard it is to make the show and they need to polish their skills and develop their bodies and TB and Mike Curtis can help them get there. Pretty cool!!
As an S&C guy Curtis deserves so much more praise than he gets. He has built some straight beast. Hunter Brogdon JA those were 3 of the biggest strongest wings/guards I’ve ever seen built in college.
That said (and I agree completely), I think that there are (and have always been) some coaches who create an atmosphere which motivates players to put in the work required. I also suspect that these are the same coaches who recognize what work is needed by each specific player. And, when all that hard effort produces tangible results, everyone says that that coach really develops players. Not exactly the truth, but not all that far removed from it either.
