I just watched the game. Dunn… struggled. By my count was 1/9 from the field (although at least three of those were attempted tip-ins at the hoop), 1/4 from three, and 2/2 from the line for 5 points. I wouldn’t even say it had a ton to do with how he was being guarded - he just played kind of sloppily. Had at least three turnovers (one push off, multiple travels) and would have had like three more if his team hadn’t corralled balls that just flew out of his hands while he was driving for no real reason.
Putting this game tape together with his last one is the reason The Ryan Dunn Mystery exists. Although I’d say some things are consistent across both performances, even though one was good and the other not good. His handle needs to improve and he needs to be more fluid and strong when he drives to the hoop. That might sound weird to say about a guy who is known for big time dunks, but the dunks aren’t the issue - it’s getting to the hoop and getting good looks close to the rim when you aren’t in transition or being tossed a lob.
Anyway, excited to have him on grounds soon. Has lots of potential, but, as was always noted about his game - still very raw.

Clark got hurt last summer, had knee surgery. I’m guessing it’s as much UK’s choice as his. They later signed Cason Wallace, a better player. And I’m sure they want to work the portal.

Just saw On3 moved Ryan Dunn from unranked to the 54th 2022 prospect in the country. Pretty sizable jump.

You’d think. Duke works in non-mysterious ways though. Duke has been silently peaking at STAB here and there. DeLaurier and then also the contact with Justin Taylor initially.
