My wallet would say otherwise. Yikes…
325 points this year or the Iowa OC/Head coaches son is fired. Feel like we may need a similar plan next year?
Fsu might be good this yr

Whoops can’t say that if you’re playing Kent St.
I think FSU might be legit, it’s very early in the season but they’ve just dismantled LSU in the 2nd half.
Former UVA pipe dream recruit Keon Coleman has had a big game.
Fsu looks real good. Coleman was all over the place imagine if he didn’t have crampsif Davis stays healthy they are gonna be a handful with a more or less easy walk thfoughthe ACC and a top 5 win under their belt
FSU will be in the playoff this year
Did you watch Colorado or Nebraska?? I’ll be shocked if Nebraska beats them on the road.
Clemson is really trying hard to blow this game.
My god Clemson. What are you doing??? That’s two straight drives that got to the 5 and they fumbled.
Clemson does not want to play football tonight. Or at least score points. That Duke +13 is feeling genius
Unfortunately FSU appears primed and ready to reassume their position at the top of the mountain.

Did Elko inherit a better situation than Elliot at UVA? And does Duke have the same constraints as UVA?

I guess the downside to Duke’s success is that an $EC school will be poaching Elko VERY soon.

Man I remember a decade ago Dabo got on camera after a bowl win and said “We are the best team in the country” which many laughed at (they were ranked in the teens I think). Proceeded to take Clemson back to a national title caliber program with a few nattys. But the downfall has been painful.
It’s tougher to be Elko than Elliott
This is fun short term but the ACC desperately needs multiple relevant programs so this is not ideal
To answer question #1, he inherited a roster that was less talented than ours but better fit to the schemes he planned on implementing. He’s done a very good job of patchworking his OL through the transfer portal and had Leonard as a holdover QB from the previous regime that was pretty much a perfect fit to run the RPO spread concepts that his OC Kevin Johns wanted to bring over from Memphis.
Their team has a lot of upperclassman starters on both sides of the field and Elko has done about as good a job as you possibly can at a place like Dook when it comes to making an immediate impact. To your point on #2 though, yeah he’s probably gone after this season if the right SEC job opens up. There’s already UF fans hyping him as their next coach on Twitter.
Agree on both points. But I’d say Elko inherited a better program.
Duke being kinda good just continues the ACCs tradition on fly by night off brand programs when the big boys are down.
Yeah, this is funny, and I enjoy it in one way, but this is arguably bad for the league. That said, at least if Clemson has to blow a game against a lower tier opponent, it’s against another ACC team. Lets hope they figure themselves out against non-con opponents.
EDIT: Wait, the only non-con opponents on Clemson’s schedule are Charleston Southern, FAU, and South Carolina? Is that a joke? They’ll prove nothing to anyone.
