Having so many FBS programs in the state can’t help. Is ODU FBS?I think they are…
I’ve probably said this before, but JMU has had the best ran football program in the state for like a decade now. There was a graphic during their game today against GSU that said they haven’t had a losing season since 2002, they have a rock solid culture and it’s not surprising to see them have so much early success at the FBS level.
With that being said though there’s still little excuse for us and VT to have fallen below them given our respective resources.
Oklahoma is getting absolutely hosed by the refs in the final stretch of this game.
So how are we going to fare at Louisville next week, can we keep it within 30?
Imma just be realistic, it’s probably gonna be a rough night lol.
Road game against a top 15 team with a really strong run game, and we’re having to make a turnaround on a short week after getting rocked with injuries. Maybe the team shows up like they did against UNC, but in my opinion if UL keeps it simple and hands the ball off to Jordan/Guerendo 40+ times behind their solid OL there’s not gonna be a ton we can do defensively.
And if they do that AC will give them 2 extra possessions at least and they win by 3 - 5 scores.
Arizona State had a total of 83 yards on offense today. That sounds like an impossible number.
Danny Neckle points out that, at the moment, every team on UVA schedule this year has a winning record, and UVA is alone in the FBS on this.
Must be nice to play uva
The end of Bedlam made me sadder than any ACC conference realignment talk
Washington USC are going over 100 right? O/U in game is at 100.5 right now and I like that over crazy
Those schools no longer playing each other annually is all on them. Georgia Tech left the SEC, but the series with Georgia was never interrupted. No one forces Louisville/Kentucky, South Carolina/Clemson, Florida/FSU, Iowa/Iowa State or Utah/BYU to play, despite being in different conferences, but they do anyway.
It’s all just administrators and coaches feeling butthurt, arrogant, scared or all of the above that Penn State/Pitt or Texas/Texas A&M don’t play or stopped playing. We’ll see about Washington/Washington State and Oregon/Oregon State. Clearly Oklahoma/Oklahoma State’s done. Texas/Texas Tech is done too. I won’t even consider Cincinnati or Houston or UCF. Not yet anyway. Prove something as P5 schools first.
I’m stealing that .gif. That’s hilarious.
The MJ Morris stuff is another prime example of why I have just lost so much interest in college football. Redshirting to preserve eligibility in the middle of a season to take a NIL deal elsewhere next season is the rumor
How can that be though? Other coaching staffs can’t contact him!
Almost certainly an SEC school splashing the pot. Auburn?
Heard rumors he wants to transfer. I wouldn’t blame him. He was solid enough starts and I’d want to get away from Anae as well.
Michigan fans always are doing the most, which ends up being really funny when the fan is a law professor:

We play tonight?
That’s some UNCheat-level legal justification for cheating there. “Yes, it was long-term institutional academic fraud, but it was available to some non-athletes too, so the NCAA can’t punish us…”
This guy has some very funny tweet about the matter - they retained Williams and Connolly for the matter, probably the world’s most elite litigation firm.
Very specific trash talk
