I have no inside info but would imagine Bryant Haines will at least be talked about given the job he’s done as DC. Might be crazy but I could also see Mike Houston and ECU mutually parting ways so he can go back to Harrisonburg.

I really wanted Elliott to hire him when he was putting together his first staff. The stuff he was doing at W&M sounded really cutting edge.

Yeah same here. Am a big advocate for him, innovative offense and would recruit the hell out of the state of VA. Only issue is he’s clearly shooting for the stars, hasn’t stayed at any one place for more than a year since 2019.

That’s an issue with JMU coaches, although maybe less so now they are FBS.
Mike Houston not a bad call. Honestly thought they were all around more dominant when he was HC.
edit: Yikes, just looked at his record at ECU. Also looked at Everett Withers before him. Terrible record in FBS as well. Weird. Is there a thing where a school makes coaches look better than the really are? Seriously.

They’re never going to get a top four seed in the expanded CFP format unless the ACC has better than mediocre teams near the top. Strength of schedule will always be an issue, otherwise.
They’d be better off in the Big 12.
