Downside of the job is you have to live in Kansas

I thought Wichita was in western Ohio

Also a sh$thole. Anything north of dayton and columbus mistake

I get that Penn State has B1G money and that the conference is arguably higher profile right now than the Big East with better long term viability.

But dear Lord have you ever been to State College? I’m not the world’s biggest DC fan, but at least it’s civilization.

Additionally, with the B1G’s upcoming additions of UCLA and USC, wouldn’t surprise me if some people at some of the schools dislike how big the conference is getting. The Big East is still relatively tight knit.

Bingo PSU worst location in the B1G and that’s saying something when Ames Iowa is a location. Good lucking finding longterm success convincing kids to stick it out there in the woods. You thought VT was a hard sale?

And best believe all that NIL money will disappear the moment PSU needs a new QB or a new outside hitter on the VB team.

If it’s set now, it’s not Cooley because he won’t confirm he’s leaving before the NCAA’s are done.

Woods? It is in the Northeast at least.

Do you gentlemen remember being teenagers?

Let me help you out with some math.

15K students accepted in 2019 (.46) = ~7000 reasons to tuff it out in the “woods”.

PS - Charlottesville (g*d love it) isn’t a pimple on the ass of my hometown. I will let you guess.

Wichita has any night life? Figured you had to drive the hr to KC or Lawrence for that.

Also divisity is limited to whoever isnon campus and Im willing to bet thats limited to the athletic department

Nothing like sticking out the winter with the finest of Erie and Aliquippa… if that’s your deciding reason then the SEC says hold my beer at least the weather will be nice enough to go outside most of the year.

Yes. Nightlife is very limited when I was there. But there were a handful of nightclubs, GCs, etc.

As I remember it there was actually only one “party” but it just changed locations. If you were mixy then you saw the same faces ALOT.

But B, some people think that going to the capitol S-O-U-T-H is not in their best interests. I will leave it at that.

Some people want to come home at any time.

You left out, PITT, PHL, south Jersey and the DMV.

True although I’ll never understand that being a southerner. Also anyone picking their school based off coed ratio also likely does not care.

Please don’t ever lump the DMV with that philly/jersey trash.

Also i dont see any of those outside of the dmv as a check in the good box for anything. Definitely don’t want to go to college with 7k Snukies

Snookie was entertaining at least. I cried when she got black bottomed over spout on that show.

Tex rocked a few heads at State College
Their football stadium is in a cow pasture

My man. Went up there a few times to coach Rugby and was always amazing how it felt like 6 hrs from everything.

Biggest reason Georgetown is a better job than PSU is that PSU’s administration does not care about or support basketball in any way. They will devote the minimum amount of resources to not be embarrassing and that’s all a coach can expect.
