I know this is a stupid question, but could someone shoot me a dm and tell me how to embed a tweet in my post? I seem to be very technologically challenged.
I was going to embed a Rothstein tweet about VA Tech releasing their non-conference schedule. Very weak for an ACC team. Auburn is the only team of real note on it

I think it might not work with links from the app, as they show up as “x.com” instead of “Twitter.com”
But you can manually enter “Twitter” for “x” in the link’s URL and it works.

Looks like 1 guaranteed Q1 game (Auburn away), right? The second Orlando game could be Q1 if VCU/Iowa St are good, but could break the wrong way and end up a Q2. Not sure if that’s smart scheduling for a bubble-adjacent team.
Auburn wasn’t by choice… I’m surprised they didn’t opt out like they did in CMY’s first year with the B1G challenge.
Risky business, given that the ACC schedule was only good for ~6 Q1 games for them pre-conference tourney last season, and we had even less (~4).
Yes, the schedule is definitely a liability for at least the top third of the ACC. This is pathetic, to say the least.
If VPI beats Boise (which is not a gimme), there’s a hidden game (TBD) which will probably be FAU or Texas A&M. That will help
What I appreciate about Mike Young’s VT teams…they pound bad teams in non-con. Consistently gets them over ranked in the NET. I wish they’d play all cupcakes, would be better for the ACC. Not so much them but that’s not my concern haha
