I’d welcome an All-ACC PG Rohde, All-ACC PG Rohde, All-ACC PG Rohde, All-ACC PG Rohde, All-ACC PG Rohde lineup.

I know exactly who you’re talking about but the name escapes me. Give me a second and it’ll come to me.

Oh, you’re talking about Ref. First name of Carolina if memory serves.

(Corrected to Ames)

It’s a delicate balance. I’d try to bring in (at least) another athletic guard/wing who’s better than Rohde and/or Ames. I’d probably focus on keeping iMac. I’d tell all of them but iMac that we are looking to upgrade (diplomatically) but I’d love it they decided to stick around and fight for a spot. If that turns them off, so be it.

It’s possible that trio will be the best we can do for next year, but it’s not so good that you’d risk losing it…

Not keeping him would be the Rohde to ruin.

What this roster is missing that we need to add to the perimeter is a long athlete, someone like an Akil/Justin/Hunter type. Maybe Gertrude can be that guy, but obviously he’s going need experience to get there; maybe by ACC play could have that De’Andre RS Freshman breakout. I do think we’re starting to see why Ames was a Top 100 recruit two years ago. There’s definitely a role for a guy like him as a score first guard, yeah we could arguably upgrade, but we could also move backwards with the wrong get.

Yeah, my issue is that I wouldn’t classify any of the three of them as a good defender, rebounder or someone I want ball dominant. And think they’ll all be expensive to keep.

I’d prioritize Ames for the extra year of eligibility. Then knock on Rohde’s door to see if he’d be willing to come in and be a 6th man.

Get an elite PG and steal Tobi Lawal.

I’d run em all back

We dont have anyone that has proven they can be a starter on a really good ACC team. (Top 25 nationally)

So I’m not really that worried about retaining anyone.
Selfishly for style of play I would love to keep Robinson, Gertrude and Ames and sign Mallory.
Cofie if he would stay - he won’t.
I’m way over having plodding non athlete, non basketball athletic skill dudes at multiple positions.
For me the only kind of dude that can be a minus athletically or positional length is a 20 min per game shooter.

Simply Can’t have starters that can’t dribble past their man or score when played one on one - (IMac, Saunders, Blake, Rohde)
Need coaches that encourage the guys who can (Cofie, Robinson, Dai Dai, Gertrude, Mallory)

Point of contention - Murray should be on this list but Rohde shouldn’t be. (And really Robinson should be on the list too but he’s valuable in many other ways).

Yeah what are they gonna do. It’s all part of the players compensation package now

5 Rohdes do get you pulled over

Wrong. IMAC was an excellent starter on these teams:

And a solid starter on these teams:

He’s currently a top 25 ACC player if not higher.

The idea that iMac wouldn’t start on a top 25 team will look very stupid when he’s starting for a top 25 team next year.

I don’t know… the fact that AP voters thought we were a top 25 team in November and December last year isn’t exactly a strong rebuttal to the overall point Dave made.

We would be Rohde Kill.
