Single-Game Tickets
Non-conference games excluding Memphis will go on sale Tuesday Oct. 15 to season ticket members and Virginia Athletic Foundation donors of $100 or more and the public on Thursday, Oct. 17 at 9 am. Please note, Memphis will only be available as part of a multi-game package. Games in January, February and March will go on sale later in the year. Tickets prices vary based upon the opponent and seating area.

Edit - Which sucks, but the reality is that newspapers, other than maybe USAToday, WSJ and NYT, are all dying before our eyes. My younger daughter wants to go into journalism, but I hope she doesn’t end up in newspapers because her entire career will be slowly dying doom and gloom.

I mean, I realize I’m part of the problem as someone who doesn’t subscribe to either the RTD or DP, living out of state it’s hard to justify, and even when living in the 757 I was only a sporadic Pilot subscriber.
Wonder if there was ever some way to sell a sports-only subscription to subsidize those guys for those of us who’ll drop $10-15/mo on sports website subs but don’t want the whole paper.

Well, shit. I still have an online sub to the Roanoke Times and it’s been gutted so much that half it’s stories come from the other state papers, which is how I would read Teel and Barber.

I don’t remember the details, but I’m pretty sure The Athletic was hemorrhaging money before the NYT swooped in to buy/save it. Of course, NYT then went and gutted its sports department so there probably isn’t a good solution out there, which sucks.

How about giving Teel and Barber premium memberships in exchange for them doing a certain number of podcasts exclusive to LRA? Not mine to give away, obviously and I’m sure they’ll have other offers, but just a thought.
