Bracket Matrix is either not an echo chamber or such a successful echo chamber that they deafen the committee every year. Their concensus is an excellent predictor.
I just looked at the last five years. The consensus final Bracket Matrix was perfect on top three seeds twice. The other three times they nailed all the top 2 seeds, and they missed one three seed (each got a 4).

Eh not exactly. The median score is about 85% of the maximum potential and some points are awarded for being within 1 seed of the actual seed.
Huge win. The 4 seed was essentially aggregating the resume results with the metric/efficiency results. Bumping up to 13th in Ken Pom nullifies the argument that a 4 seed is a ābalancedā placement for us

Almost all of the missed points is because they miss a lot in the 5-11 range. Go look at their final brackets the last five years, and how they do on top 4 seeds: The Bracket Project - Ranking the Bracketologists
So less than 50% of the time, they got the correct 3 seeds?

So how much do the quads matter since they changed emphasis last season? Because there are currently only 10 teams with 9 or more Q1 wins and our win % is the best out of the 9 win teams (aka best outside of the 1 seeds)

Not sure what it was before that game but weāre 13 on Torvik as well, just behind Texas Tech. Resume = high 3 almost 2 seed and predictives = top 4 seed Iād be pretty disappointed if we donāt get a 3 seed barring getting ran out the building tomorrow.

We went from 19/18 in Pom/torvik to lucky number 13/13. Not sure where to find BPI / when it updates
Iām letting myself believe a 3 is possible with a loss tomorrow night ā¦ but belief and hope are dangerous
