Originally this was supposed to be in February, assuming it still is, Arkansasā only availability would be between Mon 2/1 and Wed 2/3. Otherwise it would have to be Nov/Dec, thatās their only open date during conference play.

A handful of places it could maybe slot in but few obvious openings for a marquee, 12/5 is most likely. D1 Docket (The D1 Docket: SEC Dockets) has Arkansas open that weekend (and no home Georgetown game, too early to know the Wiz and Caps schedules) and they play @ UNC a few days prior so maybe they just stay east.
We could also reschedule a buy game.

Takeaway is the staff wants potential Q1 games in the OOC both to make our resume stronger for seeding in March as well as to toughen us up for a deep Tournament run.
Iāve got about 7 Q1 games in the ACC if the NET ends up looking like this Torvik ranking, with four more in the OOC.

When? Itās packed early on. Either cancelling an existing game or shifting it later?
Hope these teams improve under new coaches. Annoying to have games against that worst teams at home from a metrics perspective.

To get a better sense of how much it actually cost to put together a team this offseason, we asked all 25 coaches: On average, what would you estimate teams in your conference spent on their rosters for next season?
The 25 coaches were described as high-major coaches they surveyed at Peach Jam.

Smart people seem to think they are both good coaches, but Iām a little skeptical. You can only do so much if your budget is a third or a quarter of the top teams in the league.
You can only do so much for so long** is my take on it. If either of them are actually any good (and the baseline for āany goodā at both places is pretty low) theyāll be on to bigger and better almost immediately. If they show signs of progress, I donāt think theyāll be around long enough to have either team actually make any noise.
On the flip side, it seems like weāre always flat at Conte Forum so glad to escape that trap this year.
Itās no harder than a schedule of meaningful games in late March/early April. And these kind of big games give a program juice. We won 30 games last year. This year, letās get the juice.

Some good stuff. Much weāve heard before, but:
- All returners have improved, seemed really high on Samās leap and mentioned TDR improvement
- Chance can certainly continue to up his game
- Asked about newcomers, typical non answer, but mentioned Nolan first, mentioned Kalu and said Jan has had a good summer. Didnāt mention Jurian which means heās totally the 5th starter lol
- Didnāt confirm Ark game but hinted it was being worked on
- Rothstein canāt help himself by getting in a Duke ref/questionā¦sheesh
