Hah, yeah, probably.

I mean, most teams don’t have a Power 5 win at this point. If anything Tulane probably deserves more credit than its getting. Losing by 1 score to the #2 team on the road? That’s the gold-plated definition of a “good loss”.

Coaches Poll… Virginia only got 4 votes this week. I wonder what Coach/staffer saw our result and said… yeah, that warrants me to remove them from my ballot. Lol!

Lol that makes no sense at all.

Mack Brown questioning the Coaches Poll. LOL!

Don’t trust his motivation for saying it but he’s not wrong.

Yeah he just wants to motivate his own team and make sure they don’t have a letdown against us. As far as I’m concerned, none of the Coastal teams have proven anything yet. This weekend will give us a better idea though.

So what’s everyone’s thoughts on the UNC game? I don’t think we now how good either team is yet. Carolina will definitely test the secondary which hasn’t happened yet. Our offense can continue to be explosive I think, as long as Anae doesn’t get too clever if things are working. My gut tells me it will be a shoot out.

Hard to tell. This is the first test for the Hoos IMO and will tell us a lot. I’m worried that it may turn into a shootout. Brennan has been off the charts so far but I’m not convinced that’s who he is and a potential shootout leaves little room for error. I think the greatest threat to the offense is Anae and the play calling. Defensively, I’m worried about the front 7. The Dline got worked by Illinois who wasn’t good. Give Howell time in the pocket and let those young RBs start moving and things could get dicey.

I’m not convinced the UNC line is good but generally my analysis too

VT beat UNC with great defense and a run game / short gains… I’m not sure we have either of those at this point. Not saying it can’t be done, but it will be a much different game

Problem I see is the hoos aren’t very good on the road, and this will be a lot of guys first time playing on the road in front of a packed crowd. Chapel hill is gonna be rocking. Going to need a fast and good start to the game and the D needs to step up

Yeah, UVA certainly could win, but it’s not a game that particularly plays to their strengths.

I’m with most folks here. Honestly have no idea what to expect.

I generally like the way our offense has been running (the gadget plays don’t drive me as crazy as others, although I think we need the other QBs to start hitting some passes to really force defenses into bad positions), but there’s definitely room for improvement on the run blocking. And on defense, there’s been some things to like although hard to tell what was just the product of bad opponents. The D-line has looked a little less disruptive than I might have hoped, and we aren’t really generating many turnovers, but still can’t complain with what they’ve done.

Should be a fun game that reveals a lot, like others have said. It’d be awesome if Armstrong just kept shredding though. Have enjoyed seeing him atop the ACC QB stats.

Our lines will disrupt their lines. We desroyed their offensive line last year. And we will do the same this year. They are more dependent on their OB this year because they lost a lot of weapons. Take Sam Howell away and you take their offense away. I don’t think their OL can keep our DL out of their backfield. We shall see.

We made Top 10 best games this weekend (Week 3)…

The big reason to be nervous about this one is preseason expectations. Not like UNC has looked sharp on the field. Bronco’s history against UNC gives me a ton of confidence. Our locker room is feeling way better than the Heels room right now. We may struggle everywhere else on the road but not at UNC. I think Saturday is the launching point to a season that at least rivals 2019.

The Coastal is such a messy division historically, so I don’t want to say it is a make or break game for the season, but it’s beginning to feel that way. Outside of GT and Duke it’s tough to target a team that will be a confident win in the Coastal. All of the teams are beatable by the current Virginia team, but there’s questions. The final month of the season could become very long with ND, Pitt and VT and ideally they aren’t chasing wins by that point.

We’re going to beat ND at home as long as Brennan is healthy

I’m convinced that the “top” ACC teams really are closer to the middle of the league this year. Just the usual suspects given preseason hype to legitimize a Clemson playoff berth.

Im calling Saturday’s game a toss up. Which means they’ll now get blown out.

Add ND to the list of schools that I don’t think I know anything about.
