This confirms by priors so I like it

I’m looking at Stanford’s roster and as much as I like Kyle Smith as a coach, their outlook is a little concerning:

  1. They lose their clear 2 best players (Raynaud, Blakes) and Sellers, who’s maybe their 3rd-to-5th best player.
  2. They have a decent amount of returning minutes (~54%), but they bring back exactly 1 player with a usage rate over 20% (Okpara); everyone else is below 17%. Their possession-weighed returning minutes is much lower, reflecting that they aren’t bringing back much in the way of go-to guys.
  3. No portal adds so far.
  4. Their 2024 and 2025 recruiting classes come in around #100 on On3; their 2023 class was much better but the guys who headlined it are long-gone.

Their roster needed some talent infusion, I don’t think they are as well-positioned as Notre Dame to rely on internal development.

If you’re Greg Miskinis and you’ve worked for Shrewsberry for almost 10 years and followed him to ND from PSU despite being a PSU alum, how do you take it that the school’s lauding your replacement as a game changer? A change from Miskinis is what the team needs to get to the next level? Maybe Shrewsberry should’ve mentioned that when he asked Miskinis to move to South Bend with him.

What ever happened to Miskinis anyway? I could only find something that said he left mid-season.

Oh also, it’s not only Sanderson’s son, it’s his adopted son too.

Probably depends a lot on why he left.

This is an interesting, casual discussion about the new coaches and their respective schools. They don’t have a good understanding of what our frontcourt is or can be if things work out, but that is understandable. Yes, I have too much time invested in this stuff!

Why does he want to be in San Antonio?

Maybe just be away from the Dallas dysfunction. But how scary if he came back…ugh…

Twin towers with Wemby would be the second coming of Duncan & Robinson?

Pretty sure this is a fake account. It says the athletic but if you look up his name on their website he has zero bylines.

Wonder if they pivot back to Dame Sarr.

Ugh. Hate this fake account crap. Thank you

Not you but this notion is just dumb. Turn down 100 million dollars to be at Duke and a bunch of nerds and lose in the tournament game. Nochance

I would fire the age and transfer

Wemby and Fox a better grouping than Kyrie AD and Klay (age/injury history a major concern for all of them)

Reddit agrees with you.

Hokies looking very likely to land Neokois Avdalas. Be interested to see @StLouHoo’s AC projections because by my count that’s now Miami, UVA, NCSU, Cuse, ND, and VT that should he improved quite a bit from last year. Going to be a much more competitive middle of the pack.

I heard Desmond Claude smoke but no idea if that’s real

Supposedly he’s committing to Kansas any day now.
