Seth Trimble and Elliot Cadeau hitting threes is something.

Lubin and Tyson both look a little lost in UNC’s Uber fast pace.

I found myself coming out of the blue/white scrimmage actually more hopeful of our team but now watching UConn UNC and Memphis I find myself tempering expectations more just because of how big the gap in play at the 1-2 spots is, especially if it’s Rohde’s safety that earns him the back up pg role and he doesn’t be more assertive

Cade Tyson went from 48% from 3 to being afraid to shoot the open 3 and a 1-7 shooting night.

Hubert Davis did to Cade Tyson what Tony did to Dunn I swear

I think Memphis was an especially bad matchup for Tyson … but dude needs more physicality overall.

Him and Power should offset each other.

We’re not as athletic at the 1-3 that we need to be. Losing Eli obviously hurt there.

The good news for Tyson (in terms of starting) is that Powell didn’t have a great game either. At least stats wise

Trimble making jumpers would be like Warley for UVA. Total game changer. I’m guessing they’ll start him along with Cadeau and Davis. Tough group to guard. Tyson-Washington-Lubin main trio up front.

Trimble has got some serious Wisconsin game to him. Maybe I mean this as a compliment? I don’t know

It’s just like Wisconsin hoops is like a different thing, man.

Ever since I got schooled by Drew Dieners dad and a random 7 year old cornfed kid from Wisconsin, I don’t mess with those guys.

Burton is the best PG in the ACC

Meaning both five star rookies come off the bench?

The universe heard me repeatedly talking down on Hubie’s homegrown players underperforming, so of course now Cadeau, Trimble, and Washington will all break out.

@StLouHoo rumors going around that Hysier Miller isn’t with VT anymore. He hasn’t been practicing and was left out of their promotional video highlighting their guards this season. Speculation of an NIL dispute but those are just rumors.

How big of a loss would that be? Gotta think that kills their PG depth and means baby Pump gets thrown to the wolves after not looking good last year

Davis hurt?

I’m less sure Wake is gonna be good after seeing this box and seeing a few minutes of them play:

Their guards suck. You put Warley on Sallis and WF is UVA without Elijah Saunders

Chris Coleman over at Tech Sideline is saying he heard Miller was behind baby pump on the depth chart. Wasn’t Miller projected to be their top scorer this season?

It is, but Baby Pump should be decent. Probably a better shooter and facilitator

Baby Pump was awful last year. Essentially unplayable in ACC play and MY had to ride Pedulla into the ground as a result (Pump played 4 mins in their 30 point blowout when we came to Cassel for example). He’s probably going to be solid longterm but they’re in big trouble if he’s the starting PG. Sounds like Miller may not even be with the team anymore which is bad, not that I’m a huge fan of his. The efficiency at Temple was staggeringly bad.

Maybe we can finally sweep these Mfers. C’mon Sanchize!

I have a hard time viewing Wake as good, regardless of who is on their team. It’s like Forbes is a good enough recruiter to assemble solid talent, but not a good enough coach to do much with it.

Sounds like Hysier Miller won’t suit up for VT this year. Not sure the reason but something will come out soon.

Probably best for them long term so they get an extended look at Baby Pump but woof, that’s a brutal roster

What I’ve seen/heard from Tech people is that he lost the starting PG spot and decided to sit and go back in the portal.

As much as I would love to laugh at them, this is just such a sad reflection on the current state of college athletics
