FSU is going to be a problem in ACC play. They’re a mess on offense, but they’re long and athletic and very physical defensively. I have no idea how Florida stomped them.

College sports are wild. FSU gets destroyed by Florida and less than a week later beats nationally ranked Colorado. It is why you cant put too much stock in an early season (November) result.

Yeah, and we think Wiscy is big? FSU is huge. Maybe not as beefy, but taller, longer and more athletic.
Given the makeup of our front court, I’m actually less worried about the lean athletic types and more worried about beefy front lines.

Man we could have used Cormac Ryan. It’s what our team this year and next season is missing. That quick 6’6 wing who can fly off a screen and shoot 3s off the catch.

That’s what I thought Rohde would be. Still too early to say he won’t be long term but not looking like we’ll see that this year unless something changes.

yeah to be fair Cormac is a 5th year with 5 years of power 6 experience. Rohde is still 5 games into his 2nd year adjusting to what Tony demands and higher level ball (and playing off ball)

I think Cormac is a guy you can run off the line though. And we would be like “why is he just passing the ball after catching it off the pin-down?”
He’s got a faster release though he’s not hesitating like we did/can shoot over closing defenders. He’s kyle guy lite in that regard,
Also having another shooter like that next to mckneely changes the floor spacing mightily
