Key is locking up Prcctor and Roach. Think we need Reece on Roach, hes cooked KC last few meetings. We can live w their bigs beating us or shooting 3s but can’t let their guards in the paint and controlling the game

Need to have an answer for their high ball screen with flip. Cafarro and Shed will have to be very smart. BVP played those poorly last time around.

I struggle to see how we won’t have difficulty finishing at the rim tonight. We need some 3s to fall. If I’m scheyer I’m a) a raging douche nozzle and b) content to let us have some open 3s until we prove we can make them.

Not close to 2019 talent but (1) I think Whitehead has lottery potential if he shows out in the ncaa-t and in workouts and (2) feels to me like this teams guard play is better.
But point remains, this Duke team is solid but far from a juggernaut.

Honestly, other than Filipowski, this Duke team doesn’t annoy me that much. Even Scheyer is much more tolerable than K.

I do wonder who we put Reece on between Roach and Proctor. And how we adjust otherwise.
Do need to hit some 3s. As well as we have been playing, don’t think it’s enough to beat how Duke has been playing without an improvement in the 3pt shooting. And Scheyer isn’t going to make the same mistake of not playing Lively as much/Ryan Young getting cooked.
