DC is my favorite US big city (might be my favorite overall but Iād have to think about it), as long as you find a way to make your commute tolerable. Open, light, incredible history and touristy stuff, and maybe itās the lack of huge buildings but it feels more open and human to me than, say, NYC.
Atlanta is just a suburb of its airport.
I mean I wouldnāt believe your assurance. But thatās a general human nature take not a NYC specific take. World would be a much better place if that high of a ratio (taking 2 million as the minimum since you said millions) were even actively attempting to find peace. Never mind finding success in the pursuit
All this ābest cityā stuff is interesting, but can we please get back to the original meaning of this thread? Which was to rag on the worst city? (Unless you like Boston, which is fine, in which case you need to rag on the concept of education being used to help you do practical stuff rather than just help you fill out crossword puzzles or whatever)
Boston really does suck though.
Thatās a fair point.
Yāall rambled on so long you left him no choice.
Donāt remember who said it but San Antonio is a city I want to visit. Went once for thanksas a kid. Feels like there may be some hidden gems there

Took me a secondb. But Iām here for this gimmick
Donāt encourage my bad habits.
Lived in Chicago for five years and have lived (and am still living) in NYC for 15 years. Both have their virtues and drawbacks. Personally I prefer Chicago but NYC is unbeatable when it comes to options and variety (culture, food, shopping, you name it). Haters gonna hate I guess. Iāll take both over most other cities Iāve visited in the US.
Boston does indeed suck and is racist AF. Charlotte sucks. Phoenix sucks. Vegas sucks (to live there anyway).
Ken Jeong to all the Vegas hate.
I had it in my top 5.
Riverwalk is cool. Best Mexican food in the country IMO. Fun to go to a Spurs game even if youāre not a fanā¦great crowd atmosphere. Also have a Seaworld and Six Flags if youāre into parks. Itās a big city but Iāve found the locals to be extremely friendly and welcomingā¦doesnāt feel big.
Also is close to Austin, which has a decent vibe. Personal opinion, but Austin has kind of gotten too big in the last 20 years or so though.
Roger that all that checks out why I want to spend a long weekend there. Good food good people Iām in.
A few of the midwest cities are similar hidden gems that way.
Does Charlotte count as a city?
Speaking of worst cities, nobody has mentioned Durham yet
Cause itās not a city but it does suck as far as the BC ācitiesā go
