I’m wrong on a daily basis…just ask my wife
I thought I was wrong once… but I was mistaken.
He just proved you wrong.
You are too young to know Johnny Dangerously imma guess
But not about mayo - you were spot on, that shit is gross
Thank you sir
We finally got a moon.
And we didn’t get angry TB looking at Bliss like he just missed a weak side rotation.
Blue Cain goes to Georgia, but we get Beekman back for a year, followed by Bliss? Yeah, that works.
That’s an excellent way of looking at it. I liked Cain a lot, but Beekman + Bliss? Oh, yyeah. In a heartbeat.
I try to be neither too pessimistic nor too optimistic about any one particular prospect. Like Mick sang:
You can’t always get what you want
But if you try sometime you’ll find
You get what you need!
It seems to me that this has been Coach Bennett’s modus operandi ever since he arrived. We might not always get the recruit the board covets, but we get the one that helps Virginia win.
Do you guys like the Take it Away sauce (sandwich joint on Elliewood)?
Not especially, but paired with the bread ends and a Pennant Ale for less than $3 was a solid lunch for a broke student back in the day.
LFG!
More on Bliss’s defense:
The stats hint at Bliss’ well-rounded skill set, but don’t reflect his defensive versatility that he brings to the table in spades. Bliss has the size and lateral athleticism to defend multiple positions, which will serve him well playing in Tony Bennett’s system.
E,g,. Saw where he did a credible job of guarding Preist Ryan** from Perk in the post. I think Ryan is like 6-6, 6-7 or so. He’s that kid that used to steal RD’s minutes from time to time and that of course meant we were going to redshirt RD.
** committed to Coppin St. Juan Dixon still there? (No)
Dang I dont know that spot
It’s a must go every time we are back in Cville, close second to Bel-air market
Would love to know how you scout lateral athleticism lol
Simple… sideways cameras…
secret film of a lateral athleticism assessment camera in action…
I am not a scout, but I think it’s the same as what they call lateral quickness.
