Tavola is my favorite Italian restaurant in town and maybe my favorite overall.
When Covid finally started winding down, it’s the place we decided to eat at first.

Baton Rouge is way too low. Prob should be #1.
Rutgers, Maryland, Arizona State and Alabama should be nowhere near the bottom 20. There’s really strong Indian and Chinese food in central north Jersey. Plus Italian and pizza. Can’t beat the crabs in Maryland and restaurants in DC are much better than 20-30 years ago. Tex-Mex in Phoenix/Tempe? I got no complaints about that at all. Alabama white sauce BBQ hits the spot for me the rare times I can get a good version of it.

That place always confused me cause there is also a Fellini’s in Norfolk. Owner was shot and killed there years back but I think it’s still around. Really good focaccia bread they’d serve with meals. Couldn’t go to that cville imposter…

I’m liking CTE more and more. Really looking forward to the next few years. Actually, what I mean is I’m looking forward to a long career at UVa for CTE but I am particularly looking forward to watching the growth in the first few years.

Love hearing that TE is making connections with the senior players and locker room leaders. It’s only a few lines but if he can get them to buy in the rest will fall in line. And he’s right with this program they aren’t going to be the most talented and are going to have to find ways to make up for that by out working everyone. It’s a mindset

They redid Coupes as well as I understand it when the folks from Trinity apparently bought it.
Kicked out Benny Dodd. Probably installed an actual urinal instead of the old sink method. Burgers and ribs no longer a $1 on Mondays.
