Couple tough blows for Jay in the last couple hours
Is there a world where the Lakers send Huff to the Nets as part of the Kyrie deal? Seems like it’s going to be tough to find PT in LA
Thomas Bryant wasn’t very good last year. And an injury risk. Huff has a similar skill set that they want for that role and could see some time when Bryant is injured or taking the night off.
Actually perfect if I’m an opposing coach… just in time for the Celtics to poach
I was thinking the exact same thing!!
Flood the comments, we need this
Would Hunter talk or would he just be listening to Ty like everyone else?
Yea as much as we love Dre he’s not exactly a podcasting type. Now Ty and AG would be an entertaining podcast but they probably barely know each other.
I picture this as an interview focused show. Ty does most of the talking to the guest, Dre says like 6 things the entire time but each one is funny as hell.
They should just let me produce it – I already have the first 5 episodes planned out
It’s funny because I can barely hear Dre’s voice in my head I’ve heard him speak so little and I live in Atl and see him in local media and we share some similar circles.
I think Ty and Kyle would be much better with Dre occasionally adding a comment or question. Ty and Kyle seem to have fun criticizing each other.
Ty, Anthony Gill, Justin Anderson, Huffzingis, Trey Murphy, Dougie Fresh, Kyle Guy…
I told Ty I would listen if me Marky Hav and Phony were his first guests
Yeah that sounds like a plan. Need some good content!
They are NBA guys now man. assume they go with those dudes
I just read Keels is on a 2-way. That’s a bit yikes, tbh, and I’ve generally been a fan of the kid. Pick 42 is usually still pretty safe from a guarantee perspective. Though the 2-ways are a decent deal (about 500k), but I don’t think any of that is guaranteed.
Relatedly, I haven’t watched any summer league yet and I need to rectify that.
Haven’t watched him in the Summer League but 2-way feels about right for Keels. I think he falls into the, it’s not that he’s bad but it’s he doesn’t do anything exceptionally well and every NBA team has a guy like him and 2 more in the wings.
Great summary my brother. I couldnt figure out how to say exactly this
Anyone have insight on Ty’s future?
Think he’s fully guaranteed this year so unlikely to be cut but at the same time, I suspect his age and perceived limited upside is going to push him to the very end of the bench.
