I’m noticing that they use the On3 Consensus for talking about their rankings. Score one for the proprietary algorithm of (A + B + C + D)/4!
Hmm. Walking the dogs atm. Let me think on it.
@HoozGotNext How soon can a kid enter the transfer portal? And can this be somehow exploited to get around an NLI? Like can they announce a transfer after first day of summer classes?
This is NLI chess… not NLI checkers…
haha I don’t know if they’re considered a transfer until they’re enrolled for the Fall semester. Was Jared Butler a transfer or an Alabama deocmmit? He was enrolled there briefly.
Looks like the answer is decommit. So yeah no transfers until the Fall semester. Can just get a release.
Sending to Elijahs dad now. Thats awesome. Can I tweet it!?!?!
Sure. Tell him we’re stoked his son is a Hoo
Oh they know! I tell em everytime we talk or I see them
A question for @DFresh11 and others with knowledge, my understanding is that Leon Bond is now about 6’8" in altitude. Is his skill level able to adapt to becoming, during his redshirt year, a Magic Ervin Johnson? A BIG point guard or less ambitiously, a Scottie Pippin point forward?
Im gonna be honest, I dont have a great feel for his skill set offensively. I think it is very raw where Magic Johnson was a refined almost finished product as a junior in HS. I will say Leon will become one of the best defenders UVa has ever seen (specifically because he is redshirting). Offensively he seems kind of in between some things as far as what he will be great at if that makes sense
Also, already a 10 in personality department
Thanks
Sorry it wasnt great but you are welcome of course
Ryan Dunn is the one who grew to 6’8.
Bond is still 6’5. He’s the same height as Jayden or looked it on the court. But his passing and vision impressed during the scrimmage even if he had a turnover or two forcing it
Thanks for the clarification.
I got an LOL and “Love it!” From the fam strong work here
