⛹ Ishan Sharma - Official Thread

16/35 from 3 at Peach Jam on top of his body of work is pretty impressive as a 3pt shooter. Pulling up contested shots and on screens

It’s been a consistent thing for Sharma for years now

Does this mean Boylans is gonna have LaBatts on tap now?

Hahaha. Hope you are right. Saying this dude and Ty in same sentence is lil tough for me however

Of course. Im not talking about college ball. Im talking in terms of right out of HS. I think maybe misinterpretation of what my point is.

Which is that he has an elite skillset that helps our team but also gives him something to build around.

And lest we forget Ty Jerome was a slow questionable add with double hip surgery until he proved otherwise.

Molson Export and Belgian Moon — judging by these taps at Mont Tremblant.

I still can’t believe I tuned in anyway for the stream and Sharma literally only played 1 minute from when the stream started. Yeah the opponent is bad but the kid just committed. Let him flex. Unreal. Never recruit canadians again

Sharma played some. Missed both his 3s but had 2 nice assists.

Do I think Sharma changes the equation for 2024-2025 with Rohde McKneely Gertrude Bond Buchanan? Nope.

Do I think he can be serviceable for us 2nd year and onwards off the bench? Yes.

Lol to be fair my og point still stands/can co-exist with this point.

The real funny story is when he becomes Klay Thompson 2.0 for us.

I will say He’s much more muscular/solid in frame than I was expect. And a legit 6’5/6’6. Sharma hits 3s as soon as I type this lol.

Oh shit Sharma with 3 3s in a row. Take everything back he’s better than 2019 Ty Jerome, Today!

Edit: back to back 3s. I missed the first shot but announcer said “another one” on the assumed 2nd 3.

I remember a kid of Indian descent from Jersey made an unofficial visit here a few years ago. I’ll see if I can figure out the search feature on this board.

His brother. He was a big college star in Canada.

I think I saw somewhere his bro has played in 1 or 2 TBTs during the summer (that espn ELAM tournament).

I see why Tony likes Sharma. Kid was born to run around screens and is also a pretty solid playmaker. Very quick and mobile, even if not the best athlete. And I like his jumper/form. Very quick and good elevation.

Tune in just in time to see Sharma miss a mid-range jumper, though they’re just crushing the other team. Sharma actively and vocally leading his team is good. Plus apparently he can solve a Rubix cube in under a minute, so that’s nice.

I’m kind of loving the Canadian commentators with their earnest goofiness.

Edit - Surprisingly good video quality, too.
