This is something to come home too. I wasn’t sure but after watching some video of him shooting I’m impressed. Looks like he has a good handle too. Don’t look very athletic but we just need to set a lot of screens for this guy. He can shoot the lights out

Mine too … I was there 20 rows up in that corner he hit the 3…. Surreal in a sea of baby blue, including my friend who drove us there… pretty quiet 45 minutes in the car on the drive home.

Oh that’s a good question. It really depends on the needs of the team they are on.
Nolte was a solid bench contributer on a 1 seed, 2 seed, 1 seed. But at the same time Tony and staff have been knocking it out of the park in terms of landing top 100 kids so easily a chance Sharma gets recruited over.
Im going to go under. I think Tony is very peculiar with his guards and guard rotation. And after watching him today Im very much still on the Sharma = some variation of Woldotensae who I liked a lot but would also put his impact below Nolte’s.

Does Woldy have more impact in the Nolte role where he’s surrounded by a bunch of other shooters instead of the exact opposite of that in 2019-2020

Depends. More shooters = more floor spacing = more room to slash to the rim but also more room for others to slash to the rim and kick out to you.
On the flip side if there are other shooters who are just slightly worse than you but provide more (like defensive end stuff or playmaking), then you are less needed those other players eat your minutes and impact.

Think this makes a ton of sense when you envision him spelling an IMac type for 10 minutes with Gertrude, Cofie, and Buchanan/Robinson to cover for him defensively. Tony can coach up limited athletes to become adequate defenders. He needs shooters to have a good offense
