Reverse misinterpret by you on that one
Im going to be honest my brain is beyond fried today. Did today even happen? I felt like I had a hallucination where I spent an hour watching Canadian high school basketball.
Cline’s weird launcher release feels like it’s effective but also feels like it isn’t a good short form. I aint no shot doctor though so idk.
Dont go changin my man
I really like this pick up!
This kid has been an elite shooter for quite some time. Its obviously in his DNA. 6’5" 44% 3 point shooter on high volume. Ill take that all day.
This kid along with ARob … i think TB has stolen a couple that others are going to be sorry they didnt recruit.
Sharma after 1 day with Mike Curtis
I’m mostly sure that Sharma was born in Canada, and there’s been several D1 guys of Indian descent but not born in India, like the Bhullar brothers that were mentioned, mid 2010s mid-major beast Venky Jois at Eastern Washington, Ryan Agarwal currently at Stanford.
CTB likes having a player that can fly off picks and pop from deep. This kid looks like he can do it. I am worried about his glaring lack of athleticism. He looks like a obvious exploitable weakness on defense but if CTB thinks the kid is worth it … rock on.
Spring Tony: You may have earned an offer, but there are a few non-negotiable hoops you need to go through before you really get an offer.
Fall Tony: Unknown International? Sure, why not.
A shaggy haired Ishan kinda looks like Death Wish era Jeff Goldblum.
Gonna need you to let that hair grow Ishan.
Yeah, but he seems to be getting shorter. Hate when that happens.
Just saw an earlier interview with him (before we were showing big interest him). When asked what he needed to improve on, no mention of defense. Uh Oh. You suppose he is not aware of TB’s penchant for D?
Only partly kidding. He didn’t take much time deciding. Maybe he thought “Oh, he is exaggerating. Nobody focuses on defense THAT much”
Note from CTB to parents of players: Stop washing your kids in hot water, they shrink.
@AnonymooseHoo The Indian Express TBT team has some other guys of Indian descent who played college ball (not necessarily D1). https://thetournament.com/tbt/teams/india-rising/
The last minute or so of this clip has some of Sharma’s non-shooting offensive stuff. I think the tweet oversells what his abilities are from the clips, but at least it’s not nothing:

I’m seeing a lot of 18’ semi-contested jumpers.
And that trigger is high and quick when it needs to be.
I get the sense that he’s going to be an Anthony Robinson -like surprise player by the time he gets here next summer… “Who has been the best shooter this summer during practice Elijah?”…“Well it’s down to Rohde and Ishan. We are going to surprise more people this year”.
