Maybe I’m too cynical, but “I don’t care about NIL” is the type of thing people say when they are not thinking six figures. Then all of a sudden, it’s more like “well NIL wasn’t the deciding factor, BUT…”

I know Kon is after the NBA bag, too, but I think it’s really hard to predict how likely that is and which program would best suit him from that perspective. UVa is really good at taking under the radar guys who already have the right size, athleticism, etc. but need to soak a bit or hew some rough edges. The closest analog we have to someone like Kon is Ty, I think. But is that a good comp? Because I think that’s Kon’s path to the league. Just uber talented offensive guy who is super hoops smart in general, but everyone is aware of the athletic issues at the NBA level. For all of our Kon chatter - have we gotten into this?** What’s the NBA comp? What’s the path? Ty has gotta be it, right?

I think that’s a better comp except I think Kon is about 3-4 inches shorter than Sam, which is worth some zeroes in the NBA.
