Sinners was fantastic but it’s probably out of theaters. 28 Years is the start of a new trilogy rather than the end of one, so it makes less sense than I expected.
F1 is supposed to be good.

For any indie film fans, “Sorry, Baby” is a must-see. Currently a 96% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Impressive debut by writer-director-actor Eva Victor. Won the Waldo Salt Screenwriting Award at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. A24 dropped $8M to secure distribution rights. Best Sundance film I saw this year. Hits theaters this week.
Looking forward to this one. I’ve been following Eva Victor since she was just an odd, independent comedian posting off-beat videos to twitter during the pandemic. Very excited to see what she does in her feature debut.
I imagine this feeling is what it’s like when the recruiting video guys on here ID a sophomore who eventually blows up into a stud player.
I’ve been an Eva Victor fan since her role in Billions. Here’s a nice New Yorker feature on her. How Eva Victor Reimagined the Trauma Plot | The New Yorker
Smokey and the Bandit is on Netflix.
. Nough said
Trailer paints it as a dryer energy wise but more emotionally heavy version of Babes story wise? (Late 20/early 30s feeling like life passing by?)
I like the company I am in there, thank you
Cannon Ball Run 2 is fun. But Smokey and the Bandit holds up to this day
Thank you. Might watch Rocky tonight by myself. Good lord we need sports back in our lives.
@Hooandtrue not so in-depth review of Jurassic World Rebirth
Very basic and predictable plot. Not a lot happens and it’s pretty obvious who dies and who lives. You watch this movie for the dinosaurs, nostalgia, maybe an Easter egg or two and for your 9-12 year olds to be wowed by the CGI dinosaurs. 2 hour movie and not a lot happens. Still had fun but definitely not a movie Ill ever go out of my way to rewatch
Watch Colors tonight and live a little True
Go watch Snack Shack. Out of nowhere the best coming of Age movie in the last 5 years (for me personally way better than The Holdovers and Didi although both solid).
Snack shack absolutely rips. Incredible film.
I’m a huge Gabriel LaBelle guy now, think he’s gonna have a great career.
Going to see on Sunday. Not sure expecting much, but the kids want to see it. We’ve kind of been watching these movies throughout their lives and it tough to get teenagers to want to do anything. So it’s win/win. Myself, personally, kind of sick of “Blue” and the whole Owen/Blue storyline. I wish he’d just eat the dude or something.
It’s a complete reset/new cast of characters.
This will be key to remember on Sunday
Thank you. They serve good beer at the theatre:)
There is a new Top Gun movie out?
No, that was real life. Easy to confuse them sometimes.
