NBA Season '20-'21

There was a recent article that mentioned Dre’s improvement and that he was the second best player on the team. However- instead of keeping the discussion on Dre’ they decided to tie in Cam Reddish and passive aggressively state that Cam was a more talented and prolific scorer, none of which has been proven true at all.

So my point in all of this is now Cam has his shot to prove that he is worth his top 10 pick and a better player than Dre’.

I never have understood Cam Reddish being such a great player. He’s a great athlete and obviously has a ton of talent but I’ve never seen it on the court. He didn’t do anything at Duke and hasn’t shown much in Atlanta either. I’m probably wrong but he’s gonna have to show it on the court and now is the time to show it. Someone is going to have to step up now with Dre out

Very true. There’s alot of talented players in the league but it’s about consistency and as Tony teaches, getting the foundational skills down (defense, rebounding, smart decisions, not turning the ball over, winning plays etc). Not everyone can be a star so in order to stay on the court most players should *plan to be very good at the teammate responsibilities and make smart decisions.

People’s issue with the dre pick at 4 was that generally that high in the draft (especially when trading up like they did) u want to pick for potential, they picked him because of his floor and then went with a high potential pick when reddish fell to 10. Dre’s taken massive steps forward that honestly not many saw coming offensively, but it was expected that he’d be better than reddish at this point in their careers. The reddish pick was meant to pan out in 2024, the dre pick was for right now.

London had 2 points and 5 assists yesterday in his 2021 G-League opener. Braxton makes his professional debut at 11 today and hopefully Ty his season debut coming off that ankle injury at 11:30. Mamadi makes his professional debut tonight, also in the G-League.

Huge any way to watch those NBA TV?

A lot are on ESPN+. Sometimes they stream on Twitch, which admittedly I know little about. NBATV does sometimes show G-League games, didn’t see today’s early games on their schedule. G-League has an app for live boxscores etc.

Roger that, ESPN+ works belter for me anyways. I’ll look around. Always fun to catch a GLeague game and see some guys you remember.

Same here. Ty is playing today, FYI. Just entered the game. They are still using some of those experimental rules, like 1 free throw for 2 points, etc.

I just posted this on another thread lol. I’m liking his confidence and intelligence. Tony really does help to educate in preparation for future opportunities.

Man he is off to a hot start. Looka looks he’s filling in more but keeping his athleticism

Also watched Ty play today as well. Certainly still has his shooting stroke. And his court IQ

Also a thread of videos highlighting his defense and passing as well. Should never read to much into one game, but man, he looks smooth out there
