And therein is the benefit of spending years in the UVA program.
Mamadi with 16 and 11 through 3 quarters so far today.
Oh is this being broadcast live?
It was on ESPN+. Magic (Mamadi’s team) won 99-96
Another tweet chain featuring Mamadi’s plays. Didn’t shoot it quite as well tonight, but still a lot of great moments:

I personally think that they aren’t that different…it is all about OPPPORTUNITY…both JA and Kyle could be successful in the NBA if given a fair shot!!
Justin definitely had a a fair shot. He played 19 minutes per game in the playoffs for the Mavs. He was getting 20+ minutes a game for the 76ers at one point. No shame in a 226 game NBA career.
Man not at all. JA is League. The business side is just crazy
What is Justin up to these days? Is he working out for one more shot at the league or maybe Europe (they pay 6 figures there which is still a nice salary to add to his already high net worth). If Justin can just get his 3pt shot back to average/below average he definitely deserves another shot. Just a few months ago the man posterized Giannis.
He signed a deal back with the 76ers in the offseason but then got cut on the first day of camp. I’m not sure what he’s up to now. I’ll look into it
You saying he didn’t get a fair shot originally or he isn’t getting one now? Because taking off the orange and blue for a second I find it hard to say a first round pick who played out his entire rookie contract and was in the rotation for two playoff teams didn’t get a fair shot in the league. Now maybe he isn’t getting the opportunity his talent deserves now but he definitely got one his first 4 years in the NBA.
Man I literally have no idea. I know he is an NBA player but have no way to know if he is or was getting a fair shake. But he and other guys understand the business side of what goes on very well. If I were an organisation he would have a spot and get chances thats for sure
I’ll bet he gets signed down the stretch as injuries pile up for teams. Not an ideal spot to be in for sure but there have been guys in that spot who have flipped those chances back into becoming full time NBA players.
He should be. I know he stays ready and is confident in what he brings etc
He got a fair shot it just didn’t work out. Kyle is making the most of his opportunity as well. It’s a business and it’s cutthroat. You’re not always going to land in the perfect spot ans unless you’re a true superstar or bring something unique most teams arent going to go out of their way to have you
The Wizards could use his defense honestly.
Yeah the 76ers are a playoff team so they wouldn’t have kept him. His agent should have known that and brought him the Wizards, Orlando, or maybe Miami for defensive reasons.
You’re not wrong there i was surprised he didn’t stick there 1 or 2 seasons ago
He and Embid are tight. Philly media were surprised he was cut, especially considering he played there before.
He was going to make the roster until they took back more guys than expected in the Horford trade.
