Mamadi with another casual 20-10 game.
So what is Mamadi’s contract status? Is he still a two-way player for the Bucks and the Bucks just aren’t fielding their own G League team this year?
Yup, that’s my understanding. Think the Bucks have three guys playing in the G league bubble, but because they aren’t fielding their own team, they’re all playing in separate squads.
I am curious to know whether there is any chance Mamadi gets called up this season to the NBA team. I don’t know enough about their current roster composition to be honest.
I don’t know if there’s a whole lot of minutes up for grabs in the frontcourt right now for the Bucks, but I know that DJ Wilson’s role in their bench rotation has gotten smaller and smaller so I wouldn’t be surprised if they called Mamadi up to give him a shot in his place
Nets need to buy him out. He would be the 2nd tallest player on the nets behind Kevin Durant
Joe Harris trending on twitter during this nets/lakers game
Joe is going to be an Olympian with Klay out of action
Is this good?
That would be amazing, *and it would be nice to for Tony to be called out/recognized for coaching both in college…atleast for Joe as he fully coached him for 4 years.
I think he’s clearly at the top of the 3 point specialist depth chart with Thompson out and most of the other top guys being international. Just a question of whether they decide they need a 3 point specialist or not.
Ty with 20 and the game winning floater with .2 to go against Mamadi’s Lakeland Magic. Mamadi had 9 and 8.
Those are huge stats for Ty. Hopegthe ankle is feleing better and he can get back to okc soon
He hit the game winner over Mamadi. I bet words were exchanged somehow
Man I miss that Ty Jerome fire! That slight hesitation before going up allowed him enough hang time for Mamadi and the other defender to pass and for him to hit that game winner.
Mamadi had a monster block against Ty earlier in the quarter. I’m sure there were some words exchanged.
I think that’s good. Sounds good
Looking for a bright spot after yesterday and watched Mamadi put up 27 points and 14 rebounds in his game today, including all 4 of his team’s points in an OT win. Scrolled through the Bucks subreddit and saw a few people saying they needed to call him up before he goes elsewhere
Mamadi is a great testament at what playing in a real program for 5 years can do for some guys. Hes getting better and better
