Joe is lowkey the most important player on that roster rn
Meanwhile Indy is officially the Malc-Sabonis show
Caris Levert is big time for them!
Can Joe Harris play center? LOL
Who is playing perimeter defense, protecting the rim and getting rebounds on that Brooklyn squad…sheesh…you gotta have some role players…
Nope it’s gonna be run and gun last team with the ball wins.
Bruce Brown was a big pick up for them. Hes been phenomenal. TLC is another option. They have some solid g leaguers who will hopefully take advantage of the opportunity.
They can rotate so that they always have atleast one superstar on the floor at all times. Not many teams can match that. Hopefully if Kyrie is still a clown they can ship his ass at the trade deadline too.
That’s the best part of all this Sabonis and Brogs built a great relationship last year ans think it will blossom further. Still likely need 1 more scoring option
brown, tlc and shamet are bench players…I don’t see how those guys will affect the game for BKN anymore than they are now…I was speaking of the starting lineup…with Joe in it…
U outscore them.
Hmmm…interesting conversation with the BKN owner…let’s give up a ton of draft capital and good player…some that start…for a an “husky harden” and yeah our strategy is we will simply look to out score teams…it’ll be great…we will sell a ton of tickets especially with the knicks sucking…and oh yeah championships…shocking that billion dollar franchises can be so simple to run…
Happy cake day @JumboHoo. Appreciate you hanging out with us!
Harden even chunky is a generational talent. You absolutely make this move. You can always acquire bench players from G league cream of crop off season, or random trades for additional pieces. Jarrett allen is a big loss but both him and levert are replaceable. Levert needs a lot of shots to be productive, which he can be but wasnt an option in Brooklyn. Hence why he was coming off the bench, the 2nd unit was the only chance for him to get that opportunity.
You have any one of KD, Kyrie, or Harden on the floor for 48 minutes. No one will stop you.
Heck the nets have looked good tonight even without Kyrie or Harden and those pieces that were traded not there.
Crazy part about all this is KD Harden and Irving only have 2 yrs on their deals. All are up for player options for 22/23. Through thst lens I feel like this massive gamble is a bad one considering what they gave up.
Could very much be the nets’ paul pierce/Kevin Garnett fiasco all over again for sure.
Forgot all about that. But you’re absolutely right
What made the Pierce/Garnett deal a disaster was the pick swaps, which obviously come into play here as well. However, I am not certain that Houston will be good enough for those to matter, even if everyone walks for the Nets. It could be a matter of swapping pick 8 for pick 5 at that point
Great point. Houston is short selling the Nets future and holding those picks as a commodity. That’s becoming more common with NBA trades. For the Nets in the best of situations they have a small window with these 3 and when you toss in 2 out of the 3 are/were disgruntled it adds a crazy wrinkle to it all
Joe Harris with the easiest 14 points of his life in the first half. James Harden seems to be a plus so far.
DeAndre vs Portland tonight 10 pm best coast time.
