“In Muscle Shoals they got the Swampers.”
Hot take Stones belong in the same pile as the Beatles as overrated.
Just stole a bunch of Muddy Waters riffs and passed them off
I can’t even.
One good song. Shelter

Was like Motown south. Worth your shallow dive culturally
Maybe but I’ve got all day for RZA stories.
Fact only song I’ll give props to
His son used to be cool with my little kids. Even gave them numbchucks for their 5th birthday.
Appropriate on so many levels
Not liking the stones is basically the same as being a duke fan.
More Robert Johnson and Chuck Berry than anyone else, but Keith Richards always gave credit.
Agree with Fresh that Gimme Shelter is their best song, but Satisfaction, Paint It Black, Jumpin Jack Flash, Sympathy, Brown Sugar, You Can’t Always Get What You Want, Honky Tonk Women, Let It Bleed — all great songs.
My favorite is the Robert Johnson cover Love In Vain, and some of the deeper album cuts like Sister Morphine and Moonlight Mile.
True they did give credit and even brought Muddy on Your I respect that.
But from that era give me Hendrix all day.
Santana from that era. Those guys were bringing a new sound
Haha, Kurt acknowledged the Meat Puppets during unplugged (couldn’t find the clip), as Nirvana covered a couple of their songs. I guess we have the shout out in common.
Bomb Bomb

This is the terrible song I mistakenly attributed to Fuel! Who also has a mediocre song called Bad Day. Shoulda called it Medicore Day.
