You’d really be excited about getting one of them as transfers? I mean in the right situation I could see it. But you should probably pull up their stats first. haha That’s a really low bar. Groves and Rohde are more valuable, not really all that close.

Thank you. We are 4 games into this season. Can worry about the transfer portal in April. Hope tomorrow goes well so we can collectively stop pouring dirt on what should be a really good team by March.

No, but am I going to be really excited about who we do end up getting? Look, I’m not actually worrying about transfer season at this point, but for the sake of purely hypothetical argument, yeah, I wouldn’t mind getting Caleb Furst in the portal. He seems like a fairly solid role player on a very good team, is 6’10, pretty stout, 2/5 from 3 this year. Whether or not we really need him next year, I’d sure like to have him on this year’s team. Anyway, moving on…

Kansas validated your “their talent ceiling isn’t really that high” take, but it did come at the cost of your “maybe they aren’t actually elite” Marquette take (which I agreed with preseason).

Ha ha, yeah. That’s the problem with these zero-sum battles. 
I was more impressed with Marquette after seeing them against Illinois. I normally love Feast Week, but haven’t been able to watch much. Even our game tonight, gonna have to watch on DVR later or tomorrow. I saw most of the Wiscy game, but was a little distracted. Which hasn’t reduced the hotness of my takes. Gotta stay on my takes grind, even when I’m not 100%.

Watching games today reminds me of the importance of sitelines. Some of these hotel ballrooms turned basketball court make for a poor viewing experience.
