They were good inside the arc today, but theyāve kinda been meh outside of this game in terms of efficiency, and they barely get any points from 3. Our 2P defense has been elite so far, so the interior will definitely be the battleground on that side of the floor.

Noticed Jennings basically doesnāt play for them and McMillian is playing pretty well. I really wanted McMillian was meh on Jennings.

completely forgot former @Hooandtrue transfer portal target David Jones was a part of Memphisā portal hall. They also got that kid who looked like Trey Murphy in D2 but no idea if heās playing for them or not.

Eh. They are definitely beatable for us. My concern is keeping A&M out of the paint. They were dominant today.

Anyway during the broadcast the announcers were doing a shout-out to their camera crew, Mike, Bailey, Steve, Kyle, Guyā¦ and I did a double take. Iām just happy our boy found gainful employment

I know the guy is a walking meme, and I might catch some crap for saying thisā¦but when the time comes for TB to leave, I wouldnāt hate it if we gave Buzz a look.
Unfortunately I think UVa will need to change their stance on NIL if they want to succeed beyond CTB.

I do think itās slowly changing. It seems like football is collecting NIL money for this portal season. Donāt think UVA will ever get in bidding wars, but seems like the administration is more willing to get into the NIL game

Just looking at A&Mās recruiting (HS & portal) the last few years, itās not like theyāre outbidding blue blood programs for top talent. You could argue weāve recruited (and got) much higher rated talent over the same time.
There might be other reasons we wouldnāt go after/get someone Buzzās caliber post-TB, but Iām not sure NIL would be the reason.
Is today A&Mās version of Wisconsin get throttled by Providence? Just in time to learn and figure things out to play us.
