See you in 2 years friend
I like him
Making room for this year’s Lucy?
Cadeau is the more approximate fill.
They already had room, now they have room for 3. 2 reclasses and a mystery last min transfer (if you believe all of their rumors)

More C-O-M-P-E-T-I-T-I-O-N.
Ok so now I have the same question you had earlier about how many scholarships Georgia committed. Thought they were at 13 already, unless they had more departures?
On the other hand, Virginia hasn’t fielded a healthy/entact squad for an NCAAT game since 2019, either. I suppose you could say that the 2021 unit was healthy, but missing all that practice time due to the positive covid test proved pretty much the same. Since Coach Bennett has been at Virginia, if they enter the post-season healthy, they perform well. If not, they’re gone early.
Nossir!
16 spots taken on their verbal commits page. Something will have to give.
One of the odder recruiting stories

College coaches everywhere holding out hope for that player they’ve been tampering with to hit the portal in the next 5 hours.

It’s honestly so wild seeing how many 247 mods and insiders hear about players potentially transferring into the program they cover before even hitting the portal. The tampering is so blatant and yet the NCAA is just like “Eh it’s good for the sport”.
Adem Bona staying at UCLA. Unless DaRon Holmes jumps, looks like Filipowski is probably playing the 5 next year. (unless Ryan Young still has a year and starts).
Then one would say it’s malpractice not to play a deep rotation every single year since they’ve only been healthy in March in 3 out of 14 seasons? That’s not an accident. That’s a probability that someone will go down.
Find me the soft tissue injuries please
And, then, to say that would be a complete mistake. Among other things, as Virginia plays a so called “system” scheme, one of the things essential to make it work is to play a small rotation. Chemistry and teamwork are enhanced. Expand the rotation and that chemistry is jeopardized. Other schemes, such as a “run & gun” approach can work very well with large scale substitutions. Carolina’s old “Tall Blues” squad comes to mind. Regardless, the use of the smaller, tighter rotation has worked very well for UVa. The injuries have been unfortunate, but they certainly are not justification for changing what has worked so well.
