I know @HoozGotNext mentioned this, but it feels like the roster construction is geared towards just this season and not the future. You definitely get the vibe that Hubert has pressure on him to win now. If he had assurances that he would be okay in the future, I don’t think he makes a lot of the same personnel moves.

At UNC and Duke and Kentucky there will always be drama all the time due to the sheer amount of engaged fans.
Very similar to the Celtics - Gotten to the Final 4 - 5 of the last 7 years but tons of drama all the time because no title and because millions of engaged fans.
Being a Celtics fan gives me a look-see into what it would be being a UK or UNC fan.

Nkamhoua moving is something I truly don’t understand. Seems like he was in line for a ton of minutes on what might be a top 5 preseason team, unless they have some frontcourt arrival I’m not thinking about. Or maybe they anticipate Aidoo taking more of his minutes?

Um you can’t imagine this happening at UVA? …And honestly I’m still not *mad at Kadin. I just can’t be when he’s dedicated 4 years here through mono, injury etc. etc.

DC Kid. Where was J-Willy to the rescue the first time around? 
My friend. We had RJ Davis and Caleb Love love triangle drama, Armando Bacot making numerous rounds of controversial comments, players not being able to transfer because of academic ineligibility, and now former players duking it out on social media with current players and criticizing the coaching outright.
Compare that to … one situation where Kadin made vaguely negative comments, but pretty mild comments about why he’s transferring in line with quite a few other transfers, and not a word leaking out publicly from staff or players.
And that happened roughly … one time. Definitely not the same.

Kadin, I am sure was 95% planning to transfer while playing in the postseason,. Yet he still gave it his all and played well for us, so I respect he didnt mail it in. Sure I am sure part of it was trying to up his status for his next transfer spot, but still, he could have half-butted it but didnt.

I’m not seeing the same drama play out so publicly, so regularly, and by current and former players at Duke and Kentucky. Not trying to be hard on Hubert, but it just seems to keep happening.

Florida landed Zyon Pulliin. They already landed several other very good transfers. That early Nov game is gonna be a lot tougher than anticipated. Torvik has them at 14.

Oh yep. And they’ll likely be fresh off an easy win against an awful South Carolina team and itching to say they won and we didn’t.
Wish they’d drew a better SEC team that sort of cheapens the double header. Not that tech is that good but certainly good enough to win that matchup easily. Florida/UVA is going to be a blast

But VPI is only 170 miles from Charlotte, where there is also an enormous Gobbler infestation, which is one of the 1,376,053 reasons Charlotte sucks.
