Gus Yalden just made his instagram profile picture the black photo all the kanye academy kids are doing, and Kanye West and Kim Kardashian now both follow Gus Yalden… definitely not happening now LOL (still think we probably weren’t going to recruit him too heavily regardless with the roster visions we have).

I enjoy a big-short-big man as much as the next guy, but just never really got how Yalden was a fit for our team. Wish him all the best though. And I look forward to his interview in whatever documentary is made in 10 years on the shit show that will likely be Kanye’s school.

I’m glad you mentioned that baseball prospects committ so young a while back. My younger daughter has a friend whose family are all great athletes. She said the older brother had committed somewhere as like a 9th grader (or younger), and I was to wisely nod and say “Of course, that’s how baseball recruiting works”, rather than call it ridiculous and eventually look like an idiot (in a new way, anyway).
