I don’t think either of them have much inside info. They understand how recruiting works and can read the tea leaves but they are wrong a lot. Arvin thinks they are in strong position for everyone they offer

The school and program don’t even exist yet! These kids are getting themselves caught in the middle of a pissing match between two rappers. Maybe it works out in the long run but I hope these fist wave kids are getting a pretty penny to throw away a year of their high school careers.

I don’t want to judge too harshly - maybe there’s info we don’t know - but any parents who are like “Yeah, my kid can go to a school that doesn’t exist and be taught by teachers we know nothing about on the other side of the country because Kanye asked him too”… well I have questions about their judgment to be honest. Also, just google Kanye for god’s sake - dude is not with it anymore.

I am not knowledgeable on this issue cause I don’t actually have kids, but if the school isn’t accredited yet then isn’t there a major risk these kids’ classes basically won’t count for anything? Also, if they get paid to play and not for NIL (maybe they are, maybe not, I don’t know), they’re pros, so at that point, are they still eligible for college ball?
I mean, I’m sure somebody who is putting together this school is thinking through these things and maybe assurances have been made, but Kanye is also partially, if not fully, detached from reality, so who knows.

I guess not with how easy it is to catch up with online courses or worst case scenario get a GED these days. But skipping a semester of high school doesn’t seem wise.

There are so many of these BS high schools for basketball players I wanna say Dwight Howard went to one in NC or SC. Either way difference this time is Donda is run by a famous guy

Deion Sanders had Prime Prep. Wound up with kids scrambling to make up the classes there that the NCAA wouldn’t count.
