This seems like it could be a good idea, depending on the details. I wish it weren’t Duke, so I could be more full-throated, and folks could treat the idea on its own merits.
Coaches have been doing the “woe is me” routine about the portal and all their additional responsibilities in the last few years. Which I understand… and there’s an obvious solution (for anyone who is able to loosen the reins a bit, which of course excludes most current college hoops coaches).
For example - would we be better off with Tony making the “streaming the blue/white game” decision (or having the veto) or with someone else making that decision / having the veto? No brainer…
I honestly think this would be a great idea for us to implement. Give the person autonomy and make it so Tony never has to talk to guys about NIL. Just send ‘em to the GM
One year of Little League All Stars in southern Middle Tennessee you got a NAPA (auto parts) cap for hitting a homerun. Not sure this is remotely relevant but yes I got my NAPA cap(s)
