But here’s a serious question: what about trying to use the backboard on FTs. The Wall Street Journal had an entire article about how it was the most efficient/effective way to shoot FTs.
The WSJ is wrong. Incredibly hard to bank in FTs unless you maybe did it from birth
I do love the find though
Any old old heads remember the Houston guy that banked what would now be 3s from the top of the key routinely? Think was early 80s and may have been an Arkansas player. Cant remember
I always thought one reason not to shoot underhand is that it would screw up your normal stroke, or else muck with it, so I could never figure why we didn’t try it with Jack Salt
Dude on the right is on his feet. The people in those seats are paying gobs of money for those seats and are the UVA aristocracy… the dude on the right snuck down from the 300 section. Haha!
Was that the final basket of the game? I was jumping and cheering at home, watching on my computer. Freaking amazing way to end the game. Ok, sure, they had fouled Minor, but if it wasn’t called then it wasn’t called and the dunk was obviously more fun.
Another serious question, we have seen Ryan wearing glasses when traveling / before games. Is there a chance he needs to have his contact lenses adjusted?
Just asking because he air mailed that three pointer last night by about 5 feet over the rim : )
Could it be like Ricky Vaughn in “Major League”? Just needs a new set of specs?
