I shot them underhand (the sixties). Lefty Driesell made ALL of his players at Newport News High School shoot them underhand. Of course, not at Davidson where he went when he left Newport News.
To me it doesn’t seem logical to shoot them underhand unless you are just miserable the other way, because shooting overhand (??) is giving you practice at shooting that is similar to what you will be doing in the game. So, why did I shoot them underhand? My Dad made me do it from when I was about 8 when I was so small I couldn’t get it up there any other way.

This video sheds a light on some of the highlight videos. Dunn has had some great moments this year and every one of them is in this video. Every assist, made 3, dunk as well as his outstanding D. If you had never seen him play, you would say wow, this kid has the entire package. Well, we all know, in spite of all the great things he can do, he does not have the entire package. Maybe later this year (I like his progression) or the year after, but right now he is not the offensive guy in that video.
I fall in the trap sometimes of falling in love with a highlight video. They are fun.
